Senator Wirch, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Joyce Erickson on winning the Susan B. Anthony Award.
Senator Reynolds, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Samuel Peer of the Town of Rock who passed away this weekend. Aside from his family that he cherished, he was most proud to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Navy during the Second World War and being part of the military forces that liberated the people of the Philippines.
Senator Kanavas, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Lindy Kemp who has coached Brookfield East High School girl's basketball for 35 years. Last Saturday, her team qualified for the WIAA State Tournament for the fifth time in school history and the first time since 1984. On Thursday, Kemp will coach her 719th game for the Spartans in the WIAA State Quarterfinals.
Senator Lasee, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of the Fifth-graders from Southern Door Elementary and their teacher Cory Vandertie. The Southern Door Elementary fifth graders raised $30,025 for the CP Telethon weekend.
