ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2005 ASSEMBLY JOINT RESOLUTION 68

AJR68-ASA1-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AJR68-ASA1-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 9: after that line insert:

AJR68-ASA1-AA1,1,3 " Section 2m. Section 10 (1) (d) of article V of the constitution is created to read:

AJR68-ASA1-AA1,1,5 [Article V] Section 10 (1) (d) The amendment of paragraph (c) by 2005 Assembly Joint Resolution 68 applies beginning on January 3, 2011.

AJR68-ASA1-AA1, s. 3m Section 3m. Numbering of new provision. The new paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section 10 of article V of the constitution created in this joint resolution shall be designated by the next higher open whole paragraph letter in that subsection in that section in that article if, before the ratification by the people of the amendment proposed in this joint resolution, any other ratified amendment has created a paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section 10 of article V of the constitution of this state. If one or more joint resolutions create a paragraph (d) of subsection (1) of section 10 of article V simultaneously with the ratification by the people of the amendment proposed in this joint resolution, the paragraphs created shall be lettered and placed in a sequence so that the paragraphs created by the joint resolution having the lowest enrolled joint resolution number have the letters designated in that joint resolution and the paragraphs created by the other joint resolutions have letters that are in the same ascending order as are the letters of the enrolled joint resolutions creating the paragraphs.".
