SB1-AA5,1,21 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute
2amendment 2, as follows:
SB1-AA5,1,5 31. Page 41, line 14: after "law." insert "Any person who is injured by a violation
4of this paragraph that constitutes a breach of contract may recover double damages
5for the breach.".
SB1-AA5,1,6 62. Page 42, line 1: delete "$10,000" and substitute "$10,000.".
SB1-AA5,1,7 73. Page 42, line 2: delete that line.
SB1-AA5,1,8 84. Page 66, line 21: after that line insert:
SB1-AA5,1,9 9" Section 174m. 111.91 (2) (hm) of the statutes is created to read:
SB1-AA5,1,1010 111.91 (2) (hm) Disciplinary procedure under s. 230.34 (5).".

1230.34 (5) If the governmental accountability board, or legal counsel to the
2governmental accountability board, determines that reasonable suspicion exists to
3investigate an employee for a violation of s. 12.13 (5) while that employee was
4employed by the governmental accountability board, the employee may be
5suspended with pay or reassigned to other state employment if a vacant position is
6available at comparable pay. No later than 6 months after the date on which the
7employee was suspended or reassigned, the governmental accountability board, or
8legal counsel to the governmental accountability board, shall complete the
9investigation. If the governmental accountability board, or legal counsel to the
10governmental accountability board, determines that the employee violated s. 12.13
11(5), the employee may be terminated. If the employee is convicted for a violation of
12s. 12.13 (5), the employee shall pay to the state all moneys paid to the employee while
13the employee was suspended with pay.".

SB1-AA5,2,20 16(1) The treatment of section 230.34 (5) of the statutes first applies to an
17employee who is affected by a collective bargaining agreement that contains
18provisions that are inconsistent with that section on the day on which the collective
19bargaining agreement expires or is extended, modified, or renewed, whichever
20occurs first.".
