Relating to Recreation of Non-statutory Committees
WHEREAS, Section 14.019 of the Wisconsin Statutes provides that under the general powers of the Executive Office, the Governor may create and abolish non-statutory committees by Executive Order; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.019 of the Wisconsin Statutes provides that any non-statutory committee created under that section shall expire on the fourth Monday of January of the year in which a new gubernatorial term of office begins, unless the new Governor, by Executive Order, provides for its continued existence; and
WHEREAS, persons now serving on such committees remain members until they resign or until they are removed or replaced by action of the governor;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JIM DOYLE, Governor of the State of Wisconsin, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the Laws of this State, do hereby recreate the following entities, effective the fourth Monday of January, 2007:
