SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 399

SB399-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB399-SA1,1,2 1. Page 13, line 8: delete "federally tax-exempt".

SB399-SA1,1,3 2. Page 13, line 24: after that line insert:

SB399-SA1,1,6 "(e) 1. Before issuing bonds on any project, as that term is used in s. 231.01 (7), in this state, a commission must receive written approval from the Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority.

SB399-SA1,1,10 2. Before issuing bonds on any economic development project, as that term is used in s. 234.01 (4n), in this state, or on any housing project, as defined in s. 234.01 (7), in this state, a commission must receive written approval from the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority.".

SB399-SA1,1,12 3. Page 14, line 10: delete "66.0304." and substitute "66.0304, if any of the following applies:".

SB399-SA1,1,13 4. Page 14, line 10: after that line insert:

SB399-SA1,2,3 "a. The bonds or notes could have been issued by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority and are used to fund multifamily affordable housing projects or elderly housing projects.

SB399-SA1,2,7 b. The bonds or notes could have been issued by the Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority and the proceeds from the bonds or notes that are issued are used by a health facility, as defined in s. 231.01 (5), to fund the acquisition of information technology hardware or software.".
