, 6and management of the schools, facilities, operations, property
, and affairs of the
7school district.

, or enlarge buildings and purchase
11furniture and sites for the public schools, shall purchase, install

1heating systems in public schools and may contract for carrying out any of these
2purposes.".

5under this paragraph, the city shall assume financial responsibility for the
6maintenance, care, and upkeep of the property identified in the resolution, including
7the maintenance of heating systems, fixtures, and equipment within the property,
8until the property has been sold or leased or until the common council adopts a
9resolution withdrawing and withholding the property from sale or lease.".
