Senator Lazich, with unanimous consent, asked that when the Senate adjourn, it do so in honor of Lance Baretz, of Franklin High School, who was recently named a 2011 WIAA Scholar Athlete. 32 seniors, 16 girls and 16 boys, were selected from 758 nominations and over 400 WIAA member schools, after exhibiting outstanding field/court performances, and outstanding classroom performance. Among this years 2011 WIAA Scholar Athletes are 16 students with a 4.0 GPA, 76 conference championships, nine WIAA Individual State Championships, and eight WIAA Team Championships.
