SB449-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB449-SA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 16: delete lines 16 and 17 and substitute:
SB449-SA1,1,4 3" Section 4m. 118.191 (2) of the statutes, as created by 2015 Wisconsin Act 55,
4is renumbered 118.191 (2) (a) and amended to read:
SB449-SA1,1,125 118.191 (2) (a) Notwithstanding s. 118.19 (7) to (9) and subject to sub. (8), the
6department shall grant an initial teaching license to teach a technical education
7subject to an individual who is eligible for licensure under s. 118.19 (4) and (10), who
8scores at least 100 points on the point system under sub. (5), of which at least 25
9points are from sub. (5) (a) 1. and at least 25 points are from sub. (5) (a) 2., and who
10agrees to complete during the term of the license a curriculum determined by the
11school board of the school district in which the individual will teach and approved by
12the department.
".

SB449-SA1,2,19 16(1) Teaching shortage task force. By July 1, 2016, the state superintendent
17of public instruction shall appoint a task force to examine best practices and
18evidence-based solutions to address teacher shortages and to make policy
19recommendations about how to address teacher shortages in this state.".
