AB584,1,2 1An Act to create 323.12 (4) (e) of the statutes; relating to: waiver of certain fees
2during a declared state of emergency.

This bill authorizes the governor, during a state of emergency declared by the
governor, to waive any fee required by the state for the replacement of a permit,
license, approval, or other authorization for a person who resides or is headquartered
in the area covered by the state of emergency.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB584,1 3Section 1. 323.12 (4) (e) of the statutes is created to read:
AB584,2,24 323.12 (4) (e) At his or her discretion, waive any fee required by the state for
5the replacement of a permit, license, approval, or other authorization for a person
6who resides or is headquartered in the area to which the governor's executive order

1under s. 323.10 applies and whose permit, license, approval, or other authorization
2is lost or destroyed in connection with the state of emergency.
