32017; and
AJR32,1,44 Whereas, Paul Sicula was a man of faith; and
AJR32,1,65 Whereas, Paul Sicula graduated from Washington High School and the
6University of Wisconsin; and
AJR32,1,87 Whereas, Paul Sicula received his LL.B. from the University of Wisconsin Law
8School in 1964; and
AJR32,1,109 Whereas, Paul Sicula served his country in the United States Army Reserve
10from 1959 to 1965; and
AJR32,1,1211 Whereas, Paul Sicula was elected to the Wisconsin Assembly in 1966, and
12reelected by his constituents to four more terms; and
AJR32,1,1413 Whereas, Paul Sicula was named “Freshman of the Year” by The Capital Times
14in 1967; and

1Whereas, Paul Sicula served on the Committee on Public Welfare, the
2Committee on the Judiciary, the Committee on Insurance and Banking, and the
3Joint Committee on Legislative Organization's subcommittee on Ethics and Conflict
4of Interest; and
AJR32,2,65 Whereas, Paul Sicula offered legislation that reflected his interest in public
6welfare, law enforcement standards, civil rights, and the legal system; and
AJR32,2,97 Whereas, after serving the people of Wisconsin and his district for ten years,
8Paul Sicula returned to private practice and began a long career as an attorney and
9lobbyist; now, therefore, be it
AJR32,2,12 10Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin
11Legislature salutes the public service of Paul Sicula and mourns his passing; and,
12be it further
AJR32,2,14 13Resolved, That the Assembly Chief Clerk shall provide copies of this joint
14resolution to Paul Sicula's children, Howard and Michelle.
