SB483,1,2 1An Act to renumber and amend 115.45 (1) (b); and to create 115.45 (1) (b) 2.
2of the statutes; relating to: robotics league participation grants.

This bill expands the category of teams eligible to receive a grant to participate
in a robotics competition to include teams containing pupils in grades 6, 7, and 8.
Current law permits a team containing pupils in grades 9 to 12 to apply to receive
such a grant.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB483,1 3Section 1. 115.45 (1) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 115.45 (1) (b) (intro.) and
4amended to read:
SB483,1,55 115.45 (1) (b) (intro.) “Eligible team" means a all of the following:
SB483,1,7 61. A robotics competition team consisting of pupils in any of the grades 9
7through 12 and at least one mentor.
SB483,2 8Section 2. 115.45 (1) (b) 2. of the statutes is created to read:
1115.45 (1) (b) 2. A robotics competition team described in subd. 1. that also has
2one or more pupils in any of the grades 6 to 8.
