1An Act to create 20.285 (1) (em) and 36.25 (55) of the statutes;
relating to:
2creating University of Wisconsin-Extension positions for farm succession
3planning and making an appropriation.

This bill requires the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System
to create two positions to advance the UW-Extension's farm succession planning
programs. The first position is a specialist within the Center for Dairy Profitability
to assist in the financial aspects of farm succession management. The second
position is a specialist within the UW-Extension's Farm Management Institute to
assist in developing and delivering programs at the local level and focus on research,
training, and joint programming with county-based agriculture extension educators
throughout the state.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
