2103.67 (2) (d) of the statutes; relating to: minor golf caddies.

This bill allows minors who are 12 and 13 years of age to provide caddy services
without being employed by a golf course. Current law requires caddies who are 12
and 13 years of age to be employed by a golf course.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB699,1 3Section 1. 103.67 (2) (d) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB699,1,54 103.67 (2) (d) Minors 12 and 13 years of age may be employed as caddies on golf
5courses, if they use
provide caddy carts services.
AB699,2 6Section 2. 103.79 (1) of the statutes is repealed.
AB699,3 7Section 3. 103.79 (2) of the statutes is renumbered 103.79 and amended to
1103.79 The department may investigate and fix by general or special order
2reasonable regulations relative related to the employment of provision of caddy
3services by
minors as caddies on golf courses. The regulations may include a waiver
4or modification of permit requirements for caddies. The investigations and orders
5shall be made as provided under s. 103.005. The orders are subject to review as
6provided in ch. 227.
