SENATE AMENDMENT 3, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 439

AB439-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB439-SA3,1,2 1. Page 1, line 4: before that line insert:

AB439-SA3,1,3 “ Section 1b. 16.09 (3) (c) 5m. of the statutes is created to read:

AB439-SA3,1,7 16.09 (3) (c) 5m. Notwithstanding subd. 5., beginning with the 22nd annual payment and working backward, the annual payments scheduled to be made under this paragraph shall be reduced by an amount equal to 75.2 percent of the amount certified under s. 229.682 (12) (c).”.

AB439-SA3,1,8 2. Page 2, line 21: after that line insert:

AB439-SA3,1,9 “ Section 3. 77.76 (3s) (c) of the statutes is created to read:

AB439-SA3,1,12 77.76 (3s) (c) Annually, the department shall reduce the amounts under pars. (a) and (b) by 12.4 percent of the amount certified for that year under s. 229.682 (12) (c).”.

AB439-SA3,4 Section 4. 229.682 (13) of the statutes is created to read:

AB439-SA3,2,5 229.682 (13) Ticket surcharge. (a) Notwithstanding sub. (12), the district board shall require that the sponsor of an event held at a baseball stadium of the district impose a ticket surcharge equal to 5 percent of the total sales price of the ticket for each ticket that is sold to the event and deliver the surcharge to the district board.

AB439-SA3,5 Section 5 . 229.698 of the statutes is created to read:

AB439-SA3,2,9 229.698 Adjustments. The aggregate amount specified under s. 229.625 shall be reduced by an amount equal to 12.4 percent of the amount certified under s. 229.682 (12) (c).".
