This bill requires WEDC to allocate at least $500,000 from its economic development appropriations in the 2023-24 fiscal year for the purpose of assisting cooperative development activities in Wisconsin.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section 9149.
Nonstatutory provisions; Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
(1) Cooperative development funding. From the appropriation under s. 20.192 (1) (a) or (r), the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation shall allocate at least $500,000 in the 2023-24 fiscal year for the purpose of assisting cooperative development activities in this state, including the performance of feasibility studies and other technical assistance and implementation efforts.
