Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

On April 23, 2015, the Cosmetology Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters Cos 1 to 11 relating to cosmetology schooling, licensure, and practice requirements.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 074-14, was approved by the Governor on July 23, 2014, published in Register No. 704A, on August 14, 2014, and approved by the Cosmetology Examining Board on August 27, 2014. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on June 22, 2015.
