Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On May 5, 2017, the Department of Safety and Professional Services submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters SPS 307 and 308, relating to explosives, fireworks, mines, pits, and quarries.
Statement of Scope
The statement of scope for this rule, SS 018-16, was approved by the Governor on March 4, 2016, published in Register No. 723A2 on March 14, 2016, and approved by the Department of Safety and Professional Services on August 2, 2016.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and has been scheduled for June 6, 2017.
