Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On June 17, 2019 the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter NR 600, relating to the generation, transportation, recycling, treatment, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste, universal waste, pharmaceuticals, and used oil.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 106-17, was approved by the Governor on September 22, 2017, published in Register No. 742A1, on October 2, 2017, and approved by the Natural Resource Board on October 25, 2017.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required. Hearings will be held on July 25, 26 and 29, 2019.
