On August 7, 2019, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse.
The statement of scope for the rule, SS 070-18, was approved by former Governor Walker on June 12, 2018, published in Register 2018 7500-A3, on June 18, 2018, and approved by former DHS Secretary, Linda Seemeyer, on July 5, 2018. Subject
DHS 163, relating to certification for the identification, removal and reduction of lead-based paint hazards.
Public hearings
A public hearing is required. The hearing will be scheduled and a notice will be published in the Administrative Register, upon receipt of the Clearinghouse Report.
