Notice of Preliminary Public Hearing and Comment Period for SS 085-19
The Wisconsin Department of Administration and the Wisconsin Electronic Recording Council announce that, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 227.136(2), a preliminary public hearing and comment period will be held regarding a statement of scope for proposed rulemaking pertaining to Wis. Admin. Code Ch. Adm 70, Electronic Recording of Documents in Wisconsin County Register of Deeds Offices.

Appearances at the Hearing and Submittal of Written Comments
The purpose of the hearing will be to hear comments on the proposed statement of scope from any member of the public who wishes to attend. Those interested in making an oral presentation will be given the opportunity to do so. Written statements will also be accepted at the hearing.
Alternately, written comments may be submitted without a personal appearance. Written comments may be sent to the Division of Legal Services, Department of Administration, P.O. Box. 7864, Madison, WI 53707 or by email to DOARulesReview@Wisconsin.gov. The deadline for the submission of written comments is October 15, 2019. Written comments received by this date will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.
