Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On October 13, 2020, the Department of Financial Institutions submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters DFI-CU 56.03, 56.05, 63.01, and 63.03, and chapters DFI-CU 57, 58, 66, and 73 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, and create DFI-CU 54.03(4), relating to repealing or amending outdated sections of the Wisconsin Administrative Code governing credit unions.
 
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS DFI-CU (multiple chapters), was approved by the Governor on June 11, 2020, published in Register No. 774A3, on June 15, 2020, and approved by the Credit Union Review Board and the Director of the Office of Credit Unions on September 24, 2020, and October 6, 2020, respectively.

A public hearing is required and will be held on a date to be determined.
