NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSED RULE TO
TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rule repeals and recreates VE 1-11 relating to Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians.
Statement of Scope and Proposed Rule
The scope statement for this rule, SS 064-20, was approved by the Governor on May 15, 2020, published in Register No. 774A2 on June 8, 2020, and approved by the Veterinary Examining Board on July 29, 2020 and the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135(2), Stats., on September 24, 2020. The proposed hearing draft of the rule was approved by the Veterinary Examining Board on July 21, 2021 and the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.136(2), Stats., on July 22, 2021.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
The department will hold public hearings on this rule on Thursday, September 9, 2021 and Wednesday, September 15, 2021, through a means that is fully compliant with Wisconsin law and COVID-19 protocols.
