Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On December 2, 2022, the Cosmetology Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule affects chapters Cos 2, 3, 5, and 8, relating to scope of practice, mobile practice, and distance learning.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 139-20, was approved by the Governor on October 17, 2020, published in Register No. 778B on October 26, 2020, and approved by the Cosmetology Examining Board on October 31, 2022. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on January 23, 2023.
