Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On March 16, 2023, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters NR 20, 21 and 26, relating to changes to fishing regulations on inland, outlying and boundary waters (the 2023 Fisheries Management Spring Hearing rule).
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 051-22, was approved by the Governor on June 16, 2022, published in Register No. 798B, on June 27, 2022, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on August 10, 2022. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on April 12, 2023.
