Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On April 26, 2023, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters NR 400, 428 and 484, relating to nitrogen compound emissions regulations.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 064-21, was approved by the Governor on July 16, 2021, published in Register No. 787B on July 26, 2021, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on December 8, 2021.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on May 31, 2023.
