NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSED RULE TO
TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule affects Chapter ATCP 50, relating to the Soil and Water Resource Management Program. Statement of Scope and Proposed Rule
The scope statement for this rule, SS 081-21, was approved by the Governor on September 13, 2021, published in Register No. 789A3 on September 20, 2021, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135 (2), Stats., on October 26, 2021. The proposed preliminary hearing draft of the rule was approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.136 (2), Stats., on May 11, 2023. The department will hold public hearings on this rule on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Chilton, and Thursday, June 8, 2023 in Madison, through a means that is fully compliant with Wisconsin law.
