Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On May 16, 2023, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapters NR 8, 10, 12, 17, 18, and 19 relating to the 2021 Bureau of Wildlife Management housekeeping rule.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 101-21, was approved by the Governor on October 22, 2021, published in Register No. 791A1 on November 1, 2021, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on May 25, 2022.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on June 15, 2023.
