Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On May 3, 2023, the Department of Financial Institutions submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect chapters DFI-CCS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, relating to the elimination of rules made obsolete or redundant by 2021 Wisconsin Act 258, and various updates to Uniform Commercial Code rules.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 066-22, was approved by the Governor on July 21, 2022, and published in Administrative Register No. 800A1 on August 1, 2022, and approved by the Deputy Administrator, Division of Corporate and Consumer Services, on August 15, 2022.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on a date to be determined.
