DHS 109, relating to SeniorCare prescription drugs.

The proposed rule changes have the potential to impact SeniorCare providers including pharmacies that are small businesses. These providers have the opportunity to provide designated vaccinations as covered services "prescription drugs," which expands services covered by SeniorCare.
Comments of Legislative Standing Committees:
The Assembly Committee on Health, Aging and Long-Term Care requested a meeting with the Department on February 8, 2023. The Department met with Representative Clint Moses (a committee chair) on March 1, 2023, to discuss the rule. No additional action was taken by the Assembly committee following the meeting and the rule was ultimately referred to the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules (JCRAR) on March 20, 2023. JCRAR took no action on the rule and it has completed legislative review without any objections.
