On July 19, 2023, the Optometry Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule affects chapter Opt 8, relating to continuing education for optometrists.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 080-21, was approved by the Governor on August 26, 2021, published in Register No. 789A on September 20, 2021, and approved by the Optometry Examining Board on April 6, 2023. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on September 28, 2023.
