Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On August 30, 2023, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect ch. NR 854, relating to statewide water supply service area planning for municipalities serving populations greater than 10,000 people. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 025-22, was approved by the Governor on March 24, 2022, published in Register No. 796A1 on April 4, 2022, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on June 22, 2022. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on October 5, 2023.
