Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On September 11, 2023, the Department of Military Affairs submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The rule complies with the requirements of § 227.04 (2) (b) created by 2011 Wis. Act 46, which requires each state agency to "establish by rule, reduced fines and alternative enforcement mechanisms for minor violations of administrative rules made by small businesses", and which requires that the rule include a definition of "minor violation". The scope statement for this rule, SS 024-23, was approved by the Governor on April 20, 2023, published in Register No. 808B on April 24, 2023, and approved by Major General Paul E. Knapp, The Adjutant General, Department of Military Affairs, on May 15, 2023. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on October 24, 2023.
