Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On October 23, 2023, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect chs. NR 20 and 26, relating to minor changes to fishing regulations on inland, outlying and boundary waters (the 2023 Fisheries Management housekeeping rule). Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 015-23, was approved by the Governor on February 2, 2023, published in Register No. 806A1, on February 6, 2023, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on April 12, 2023. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on November 21, 2023.
