Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

On September 27, 2023, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect chs. NR 19 and 20, relating to wild bait harvest regulation.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 085-22, was approved by the Governor on October 20,2022, published in Register No. 802B, on October 31, 2022, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on December 14, 2022. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on November 2, 2023.
