Notice Of Submittal Of Proposed Rule To

Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections submits a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.

ANALYSIS:   The proposed rule modifies Chapter DOC 374 and 376, relating to security in Type 1 secured correctional facilities.

SCOPE STATEMENT:   The scope statement for this rule, SS 078-21, was approved by the Governor on August 26, 2021, published in Register No. 789A2, on September 13, 2021, and approved by Secretary Carr on September 29, 2021.

PROMULGATION PROCEDURE:   A public hearing is required and will be held on a date and time to be determined.

RESPONSIBLE ORGANIZATION:   The organizational unit primarily responsible for promulgating the rule is the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Division of Juvenile Corrections.
