NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF RULES TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE

PI 34, WISCONSIN ADMINISTRATIVE CODE

On February 13, 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse.

The scope statement for this rule, SS 116-23, was published in Register No. 816A3, on December 18, 2023, and approved by State Superintendent Jill K. Underly on January 12, 2024.

The proposed rule amends ch. PI 34, relating to clarifying renewal language for educational interpreters and orientation and mobility specialists.

Public hearings will be scheduled as required under s. 227.16 (1), Stats.
