Final Regulatory Flexibility Analysis or Summary:
The proposed rule is not anticipated to have an economic or fiscal impact on small business.
Comments of Legislative Standing Committees:
Governor Evers approved the rule for submittal to the Legislature on October 5, 2023. The rule was submitted to the Legislature for review on October 18, 2023. The Assembly Committee on Health, Aging and Long-Term Care took no action on the rule and referred to the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules (JCRAR) on December 5, 2023. Likewise, the Senate Committee on Health took no action on the rule and referred to JCRAR on December 1, 2023. On January 3, 2024, JCRAR requested a meeting with Department. The Department provided JCRAR additional requested information on the rule on January 19, 2024, and February 2, 2024. On February 5, 2024, JCRAR took no action on the rule.
