Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

On March 6, 2024, the Optometry Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Opt 1, 5, and 6 related to telehealth for optometrists.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 018-23, was approved by the Governor on February 3, 2023, published in Register No. 806A3 on February 20, 2023, and approved by the Board on March 17, 2023. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on April 4, 2024.
