Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On March 11, 2024, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
Analysis
The proposed rules affect chs. NR 400, 419, 439, 462 and 484, relating to simplifying, reducing, and making more efficient reporting, recordkeeping, testing, inspection and determination of compliance requirements for sources of air contaminants.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 047-22, was approved by the Governor on May 26, 2022, published in Register No. 798A1 on June 6, 2022, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on September 28, 2022.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on April 18, 2024.
