1999 WISCONSIN ACT 47
An Act to amend 29.563 (3) (a) 9. of the statutes; relating to: correcting the fishing license fee for disabled veterans (Revisor's Correction Bill).
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
47,1 Section 1. 29.563 (3) (a) 9. of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 248, is amended to read:
29.563 (3) (a) 9. Annual fishing license issued to a disabled veteran under s. 29.219 (2) (c): $4.25 $2.25.
Note: 1997 Wis. Act 248 created s. 29.563, a schedule of wildlife-related license and approval fees, and repealed s. 29.092 (3) (g) which contained the fee for a fishing license issued to a disabled veteran. 1997 Wis. Act 322 contained an amendment to s. 29.092 (3) (g) which changed the fee for a fishing license issued to a disabled veteran from $4.25 to $2.25. Because an amendment to an already repealed section cannot be given effect, this change is required to give effect to the clear intent of 1997 Wis. Act 322.
