AB591-SA18,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 3, as follows:

AB591-SA18,1,3 1. Page 75, line 11: after that line insert:

AB591-SA18,1,10 "(au) Full-time education for high school diploma. Notwithstanding par. (as), a Wisconsin works agency may permit a participant under this subsection who has not earned a high school diploma to participate full time in a course of study meeting the standards established under s. 115.29 (4) for the granting of a declaration of equivalency of high school graduation. An individual who is participating satisfactorily in that course of study, as determined by the Wisconsin works agency, may not be required to work under par. (as).".

AB591-SA18,2,2 "(bu) Full-time education for high school diploma. Notwithstanding par. (bs), a Wisconsin works agency may permit a participant under this subsection who has not earned a high school diploma to participate full time in a course of study meeting the standards established under s. 115.29 (4) for the granting of a declaration of equivalency of high school graduation. An individual who is participating satisfactorily in that course of study, as determined by the Wisconsin works agency, may not be required to engage in activities under par. (b) 1.".
