Customized labor training. 1. A participant under this subsection may
8participate in a customized labor training program under this paragraph in order to
9satisfy all or part of a participation requirement under this subsection.

2. A customized labor training program may be offered to a participant under
11this paragraph if the program meets all of the following requirements:

a. The program provides training for a specifically identified job.

b. An employer has offered to place a program participant in the specifically
14identified job upon successful completion of the program.

c. The program has been approved by the community steering committee.

13. A participant may participate in a customized labor training program under
2this paragraph for up to 40 hours per week. Each hour of participation in a
3customized labor training program, for the first 10 hours of participation in a week,
4may be used to satisfy an hour of any required participation in an education or
5training activity under par. (am). Each hour of participation in a customized labor
6training program in excess of 10 hours in a week may be used to satisfy an hour of
7any required participation in a community service job.

4. Notwithstanding par. (b), under circumstances approved by the department,
9an individual participating in a customized labor training program under this
10paragraph may continue in the customized labor training program in fulfillment of
11a community service job for a maximum of 12 months.
