SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 SENATE BILL 113

SB113-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB113-SA1,1,3 1. Page 3, line 20: delete "to" and substitute "under par. (b) and"; and after "school" insert "for not less than one year".

SB113-SA1,1,5 2. Page 5, line 10: delete ", a firearm or an explosive." and substitute "or a firearm, as defined in 18 USC 921 (a) (3).".

SB113-SA1,1,6 3. Page 6, line 20: delete lines 20 to 23 and substitute:

SB113-SA1,1,11 "120.13 (1) (c) 2. The school board shall commence proceedings under subd. 3. and expel a pupil from school for not less than one year whenever it finds that the pupil, while at school or while under the supervision of a school authority, possessed a firearm, as defined in 18 USC 921 (a) (3). Annually, the school board shall report to the department the information specified under 20 USC 8921 (d) (1) and (2).".

SB113-SA1,1,15 " Section 9. 120.13 (1) (f) of the statutes is created to read:

SB113-SA1,2,2 120.13 (1) (f) The school board may modify the requirement under pars. (c) 2. and (e) 2. b. on a case-by-case basis.".
