ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 15, TO SENATE BILL 2

SB2-AA15,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 2, as follows:

SB2-AA15,1,4 1. Page 2, line 17: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 1998-99 by $3,000,000.

SB2-AA15,1,6 2. Page 14, line 22: after that line, delete the material inserted by senate amendment 25.

SB2-AA15,1,8 3. Page 14, line 22: after that line, insert the following, which was deleted by senate amendment 25:

SB2-AA15,1,9 " Section 9239. Appropriation changes; public instruction.

SB2-AA15,2,2 (1) Aid to Milwaukee public schools. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under section 20.255 (2) (ec) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1997, the dollar amount is increased by $2,500,000 for fiscal year 1998-99 to increase funding for the purposes for which the appropriation is made.

SB2-AA15,2,7 (2) Truancy abatement and burglary suppression. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under section 20.255 (2) (ed) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1997, the dollar amount is increased by $325,000 for fiscal year 1998-99 to increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.".
