AB916-ASA1-AA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
AB916-ASA1-AA2,1,3 21. Page 1, line 3: after "program" insert "and to supplement a medical
3assistance program appropriation for a medical assistance outreach program".
AB916-ASA1-AA2,1,4 42. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3 and substitute:
AB916-ASA1-AA2,1,9 5"20.865 (4) (d) Badger care health care program and medical assistance
6outreach supplement.
A sum sufficient to supplement the appropriation under s.
720.435 (4) (bc) as provided in 1999 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 4 (1) and to
8supplement the appropriation under s. 20.435 (4) (bm) as provided in 1999 Wisconsin
9Act .... (this act), section 4 (2).".

AB916-ASA1-AA2,2,113 (a) The joint committee on finance may transfer in the 1999-2001 fiscal
4biennium appropriated moneys from the general purpose revenue appropriation
5account of any state agency, as defined in section 20.001 (1) of the statutes, other than
6a sum sufficient appropriation account, to the appropriation account under section
720.435 (4) (bm) of the statutes for a medical assistance outreach program if the
8committee finds that the transfer will eliminate unnecessary duplication of
9functions, result in more efficient and effective methods for performing programs or
10more effectively carry out legislative intent, and that legislative intent will not be
11changed by the transfer.
AB916-ASA1-AA2,2,1612 (b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a) and section 13.101 (3) and (4) of the
13statutes, from the appropriation under section 20.865 (4) (d) of the statutes, the joint
14committee on finance may supplement in the 1999-2001 fiscal biennium the
15appropriation to the department of health and family services under section 20.435
16(4) (bm) of the statutes, for a medical assistance outreach program.".
