SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2003 SENATE BILL 3

SB3-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB3-SA1,1,2 1. Page 5, line 1: after "111.335," insert "and subject to par. (bm),".

SB3-SA1,1,3 2. Page 5, line 4: delete lines 4 to 25.

SB3-SA1,1,4 3. Page 6, line 1: delete lines 1 to 8.

SB3-SA1,1,6 4. Page 6, line 9: delete "Notwithstanding subd. 2. and subject to subd. 3., employ" and substitute "Employ".

SB3-SA1,1,7 5. Page 6, line 11: after "requirements" insert "for a school bus endorsement".

SB3-SA1,1,9 6. Page 6, line 11: on lines 11 and 12, delete "343.12 (2) (e)" and substitute "343.12 (2) (d) and (e)".

(b) 4., 5., and 11., a specialized transportation service that is operated by a county or that contracts with a county for services under this section may employ as an operator any person holding a valid school bus endorsement under s. 343.12 that was issued or renewed within 4 years prior to employment.".
