4changes in the consumer price index for all urban consumers, U.S. city average, as
5determined by the U.S. department of labor, at least annually thereafter, with the
6adjusted limit to apply to awards subsequent to such adjustments.
In addition, if the
7injury occurred when the claimant was under 18 years of age, the limit under this
8subdivision is increased by $5,000 multiplied by the number equal to the life
9expectance of persons of the same age as the claimant at the time of the injury less
10the claimant's age at the time of the injury.".
