SB426-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB426-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

SB426-SA1,1,3 " Section 1c. 66.1103 (2) (k) 20. of the statutes is amended to read:

SB426-SA1,1,8 66.1103 (2) (k) 20. A shopping center, or an office building, convention or trade center, hotel, motel or other nonresidential facility, which is located in or adjacent to a blighted area as defined by s. 66.1105 (2) (a) (ae), 66.1331 (3) (a) or 66.1333 (2m) (b) or in accordance with a redevelopment plan or urban renewal plan adopted under s. 66.1331 (5) or 66.1333 (6).

SB426-SA1, s. 1g Section 1g. 66.1105 (2) (a) of the statutes is renumbered 66.1105 (2) (ae).

SB426-SA1, s. 1n Section 1n. 66.1105 (2) (ab) of the statutes is created to read:

SB426-SA1,1,12 66.1105 (2) (ab) "Affordable housing" means housing that costs a household no more than 30 percent of the household's gross monthly income.

SB426-SA1, s. 1r Section 1r. 66.1105 (2) (bq) of the statutes is created to read:

SB426-SA1,2,2 66.1105 (2) (bq) "Household" means an individual and his or her spouse and all minor dependents.".

SB426-SA1,2,3 2. Page 2, line 1: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1w".

SB426-SA1,2,5 3. Page 3, line 19: after "months." insert "The resolution shall specify how the city intends to improve its housing stock, as required in subd. 3.".

SB426-SA1,2,6 4. Page 4, line 4: delete "may use up" and substitute "shall use".

SB426-SA1,2,7 5. Page 4, line 5: delete "to 75" and substitute "at least 75".

SB426-SA1,2,8 6. Page 4, line 7: after that line insert:

SB426-SA1,2,10 (1) This act takes effect on October 1, 2008.".
