ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2009 ASSEMBLY BILL 589

AB589-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB589-AA2,1,3 1. Page 2, line 2: delete the material beginning with "a vehicle," and ending with "that" on line 3 and substitute "any of the following vehicles if the vehicle".

AB589-AA2,1,5 2. Page 2, line 3: delete the material beginning with "old," and ending with "weight." on line 5 and substitute "old:".

AB589-AA2,1,6 3. Page 2, line 5: after that line insert:

AB589-AA2,1,9 "1. A high-mobility, all-terrain, 4-wheel or 6-wheel drive vehicle originally manufactured for military use and commonly known by the trade name of "Pinzgauer."

AB589-AA2,1,10 2. A vehicle commonly known by the name of "Kaiser Jeep M715."

AB589-AA2,1,13 3. A high-mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle originally manufactured for use by the U.S. military forces and commonly known by the name of "Humvee" that, notwithstanding par. (am) (intro.), is at least 22 years old.

AB589-AA2,2,3 4. A 6-wheel drive utility vehicle originally manufactured for use by the U.S. military forces during World War II, known by the acronym of "DUKW" and commonly referred to by the name of "Duck."".
