AB85-AA5,1,2 21. Page 2, line 2: delete "and".
AB85-AA5,1,3 32. Page 2, line 2: after "referendum" insert ", and making an appropriation".
AB85-AA5,1,4 43. Page 5, line 1: before that line insert:
AB85-AA5,1,5 5" Section 1g. 20.395 (1) (hf) of the statutes is created to read:

159.60 (7f) Milwaukee County budget cap savings; transit aids. (a) With regard
2to a county to which sub. (7e) applies, the treasurer of such a county shall calculate
3for that county the difference between the total amount of budgeted expenditures
4related to the compensation of county board members, and to any other costs that are
5directly related to the operation and functioning of the county board, including staff
6for the fiscal year before the first fiscal year in which the 0.4 percent budget cap
7limitations described in sub. (7) take effect, and the total amount of budgeted
8expenditures related to the compensation of county board members, and to any other
9costs that are directly related to the operation and functioning of the county board,
10including staff for the first fiscal year in which the limitations described in sub. (7)
11take effect. The amount that the treasurer so calculates, from the county portion of
12the tax levy, shall be deposited in the appropriation account under s. 20.395 (1) (hf)
13to be used for transit aids.
AB85-AA5,2,1714 (b) In each fiscal year following the year in which the deposit in the
15appropriation account described in par. (a) is made, an equal amount shall be
16transferred from the general fund to the appropriation account under s. 20.395 (1)
17(hf) to be used for transit aids.".
